Randy Floyd
 

Randall "Randy" S. Floyd is detective with the Telford Borough Police Department, where he has served for the last 20 years. As a detective, Randy has investigated scores of child abuse and sex related cases. In addition to being a zealous investigator, Randy has also been a committed advocate for the victims of crime.

Committed to the welfare of children beyond the borders of Telford Borough, Randy served on the board of directors for the Children's Aid Society, the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth, and remains a long time consultant for the Montgomery County Children and Youth Multidiscipline Team.

A dedicated community servant, Randy serves as the Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors for the Indian Valley Housing Corporation, an organization committed to reducing homelessness in the community. He further serves on the Board of Directors for the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce and as President of the Harleysville Rotary Club.

Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Religion from City University and a Masters in Business Administration from Eastern College. He is also a graduate of the 191st session of the FBI National Academy, the Penn State University Police Executive Development Institute, FBI Inter-County Detective School and the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Command Institute.

A dynamic instructor, Randy instructs on a graduate level for Bob Randall Associates, Inc., an educational contractor for Gratz College, providing social issues courses for educators. Additionally, Randy is the founder and senior consultant for Professional Protection Concepts, LLC, a security training and consultation company. Through this company, Randy provides a variety of training and consultation services to businesses and non-profit organizations.

Randy is a member of several professional organizations and holds certifications as an Internet Safety Certified Trainer (ISCT), through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, and as a Certified Fraud Specialist (CFS) through the Association of Certified Fraud Specialists.

Randy and his wife, Donna, live with their two daughters, Courtney, 19 years old, and Kimberly, 16-years-old, in Harleysville, Pennsylvania.
